Chris has a masters degree in interior design and historic preservation certificate from the Savannah College of Art and Design. 

Professional member of both IIDA and ASID, with specialty certifications from LEED-GA and Certified Kitchen Designer 

  Certified from NCIDQ #7173. Licensed Interior Designer in LA#1576 and IL#161-001110. 

Chris began her design career in Florida and has worked professionally in the Chicago and Albuquerque markets.  Now in Louisiana,  with an office in both Lafayette and New Orleans. Studio 626 was formed in 1994 to create interior spaces for both the commercial and residential sides of the profession.  Her award winning large kitchen design from Wicker Park is highlighted here. The studio promotes healthy, sustainable and universally designed spaces. 

Chris has been teaching for a number of years the profession of Interior Design. She has taught at 7 colleges and specializes in professional practice, diverse studios, kitchen and bath design. She has provided travel experiences to Thailand, Cambodia, Chicago, NYC, Grand Rapids and Las Vegas. Her greatest thrill is to take students to NeoCon annually to show off the town and promote the profession.
